October heatwave: Record-breaking daytime temperatures soar to 37.4 degrees Celsius in Mumbai

On Saturday, the day temperatures surged to 37.4 degrees Celsius, marking the highest recorded temperature of the season. This also stands as the third-highest day temperature recorded in the month of October. In the year 2018, the maximum temperature for October peaked at 38 degrees on October 29, while back in 2015, day temperatures soared to 38.6 degrees on October 17.
