Tomato woes: Mumbai restaurants struggle with rising prices

The escalating prices of tomatoes have led to the removal of special dishes like stuffed tomato and tomato salad from the menus of numerous restaurants in the city. Even many South Indian breakfast joints in the neighbourhood have stopped serving tomato chutney with idlis and wadais.
