Abolish governor's post or set up system of appointment, says Uddhav Thackeray

With the Supreme Court slamming former governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari for depending on extraneous material and acting beyond his powers to unconstitutionally asking the former chief minister to face an illegal floor test, Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray on Friday demanded that either the governor's post be abolished or a collegium system be established for the appointment.
