Dadra MP suicide: Bombay HC quashes FIR against 9

Holding that the allegations "fall too short to show any positive act" of either abetment, criminal conspiracy or atrocity, Bombay high court on Thursday quashed an FIR filed against Praful Khoda Patel (63), the administrator of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and eight others accused of allegedly abetting the suicide of Mohan Delkar, a seven-time MP from the union territory, and for other offences, including under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
