Woman, 90, wins case in Mumbai; son evicted

Coming to the rescue of one of the oldest petitioners forced to knock on its doors, a sessions court has ruled in favour of a 90-year-old Tardeo woman who had accused her son and daughter-in-law of domestic violence. It upheld a magistrate court's order directing the couple, who are both in their 60s, to vacate the family's home after the nonagenarian alleged that she was being subjected to mental and emotional cruelty.
