BMC’s corpus in FDs hits Rs 82,000 crore

Consolidating its status as the country’s richest civic body in the midst of a resource crunch, the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has declared a fixed deposit (FD) asset base of over Rs 82,000 crore.
