Mum’s first: Kin donate hands of brain dead youth

The city recorded its first hand donation on Wednesday as the family of a young individual, who suffered brain death, consented to donate all organs. The family’s gesture saved five lives and facilitated the first hand transplant in a public hospital in Mumbai.
