Lumpy skin disease reported in Palghar cattle

The Palghar district administration has begun vaccinating cattle after animals were found to be infected with the Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD), a viral disease. The virus, is transmitted by blood-feeding insects among animals, was first found in Gadchiroli district in April last year.
