Dena Bank changes it NEFT code
#MeMumbaikar
A recent visit to a Dena Bank (now merged with bank of
Baroda) branch revealed that there has been a change in the NEFT code. The new
one is BARBODBDADR
As usual, the branch staff didn’t have any answers to the questions we
raised to them.
1.
Till when would the old NEFT code be valid?
2.
Since the account cheque books have the old
NEFT code, would they have to be replaced or can be utilised?
3.
Why there has been no communication via SMS
or email to all the customers?
The problem of no clarity on communication has always
been a problem with nationalised banks. There seems to be a lack of ownership, transparency
and planned effort before doing any changes.
#MeMumbaikar - NATIONALISED BANKS SHOULD WAKE UP AND
GET MORE PROFESSIONAL.
