Mumbai: ATC celebrates 100 years of collision-free flights

It was in 1922, close to two decades after the Wright brothers’ first powered flight that the world’s first air traffic control license was issued. The UK issued ‘Air Traffic Control License number 1’ to a 22-year-old named George Jeffs on February 22.
