Thane: Man loses Rs 16 lakh in fake KYC verification

A 58-year-old man was duped of Rs 16 lakh by the online fraudsters who posed as personnel working with his mobile service provider and asked him for his debit card details under the pretext of KYC (Know Your Customer) verification. The complainant is a retired resident of Waghbil area.
