After 4 days of slowing down, Covid cases up 40% in Mum

After reporting a drop in Covid cases for four days, the city reported a sharp rise of 40% in daily detections with 16,420 cases on Wednesday. Inching towards the 50,000 daily mark, the state added 46,723 cases, a 35% jump since Tuesday (34,424).
