Mumbai's positivity rate slips to 8% in a month

There was reason to cheer in Mumbai early on Friday as the positivity rate in Covid tests dropped to 8.6%. Of 35,224 tests carried out on Thursday, 3,039 tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus. “If we exclude cases referred from outside Mumbai, the rate is possibly lower,” a civic official said.
