CM wants jumbo Covid centres in 6 MMR areas

On a day chief minister Uddhav Thackeray took stock of Thane district’s worsening Covid-19 crisis, cases in Thane city and Kalyan-Dombivli hit a new high. Thane breached the 12,000 mark, having added 2,000 cases in just six days, and the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation reported 580 cases on Thursday, its highest for a single day so far. ​
