Covid-19 claims first woman cop in Maharashtra

A 45-year old policewoman from Thane and a 55-year-old constable from Vile Parle police station died of Covid-19 on Thursday. Pratibha Gawali, from Shrinagar police station, is the first woman cop to die of Covid-19 in the state. Both constables had underlying health problems. Till now, 16 cops in the state have died from Covid-19, including 12 in Mumbai.
